Schafbergbahn
The cog railway takes you from Sankt Wolfgang am Wolfgangsee up to the Schafberg (1783 m).
From the Schafberg summit you have a unique view of the lakes of the Salzkammergut. In addition to the Wolfgangsee, Attersee, Fuschlsee and Mondsee, a total of 13 lakes can be seen.

Zwölferhorn
A cable car leads from St. Gilgen to the summit of the Zwölferhorn. Magnificent view of the salt chamber area.

Untersberg

The Untersberg near Salzburg is known for its many mystical caves. With a cable car you can easily reach the mountain station at around 1,800 meters, from where you have a wonderful view of Salzburg and the surrounding area.

Dachstein giant ice cave
The Dachstein giant ice cave contains 13,000 m³ of ice with a surface area of 5,000 m². In some parts of the cave, such as the Tristandome, the ice thickness reaches 20 m. The ice masses are around 500 years old.

Good aiderbichl
Gut Aiderbichl is a farm where old and mistreated animals are given bread of mercy, a so-called sanctuary.
The estate is open to visitors 365 days a year, in summer from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and in winter from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. In 2005 more than 200,000 visitors came.
